Korca Region has a population of about 362235 inhabitants which 180450 or 49.8 % are males and 180082 or 50.2 % are females.
Korca district has 200626 inhabitants or 55.4 % of the Region's population.

The largest commune is that of Pojan with 17146 inhabitants or 16 % of the population of the area, then Libonik commune with 13.3 %, Qender commune with 12.7% and Drenova commune with 10.1. The smallest commune is that of Lekas with 1015 inhabitants or 0.9 % of the rural area population, then Moglice commune with 1.7 %, Voskopoje commune with 5.6 %, Vithkuq commune with 2.6 % and Gore commune with 2.7 %.
