Kolonja

Region of Kolonje has an area of about 805 km2. It is made up of two towns: Erseka and Leskovik, it consists of 6 communes or 19% of the Region's communes and 76 villages or 22% of the region's villages.
POPULATION
District of Kolonja has 26535 inhabitants or 7.3 % of the Region's population. There is a total of 12840 inhabitants living in town: Erseke 9966 inhabitants and Leskovik 2874 inhabitants. There are 13695 inhabitants living in the rural areas. Compared to 2007, the Region's population is increased with 2172 inhabitants of 0.6% in 2008; meanwhile Kolonja Region is reduced with 0.2%.
Kolonja Region is made up of 5906 families; in t he beginning of the year there were 4.4 persons per family, in the end of the year there are 4.5 persons per family.
