Devoll

Devolli district has an area of 500 km2. It consists of the town Bilisht, has 4 communes or 13% of the Region's communes and 44 villages or 13% of Region's villages.
POPULATION
Devolli district has 43272 inhabitants or 12 % of the Region's population. There are 9945 inhabitants living in town. In rural areas live 33327 inhabitants. Compared with 2007, in 2008 the population has increased with 2172 inhabitants or 0.6 %. Devolli district has an estimated increase of 1.9%.
Devolli district consists of 11056 families, the largest family estimation in the beginning of the year was 3.9 persons and 3.8 persons in the end of it.
